Twirls' Adult Street Dance Workout teaches you the ultimate moves for the dance floor.

Learn to swagger like the professionals with the attitude of a star. This form of dance gives a great all over fitness workout and is a great way to increase your stamina, improve fitness, lose weight, tone up and improve your co-ordination. What makes it a really great class is that ladies of all backgrounds can join in as it is designed for those of all levels of fitness with or without Street experience.

Street dancing began in the Bronx in New York City in the 1970's, developed by black and Latino Americans. Hip Hop and Street denotes the practices of an entire subculture. Learn it all here at Twirl.

After an aerobic workout at the beginning of each class you will be taught new dance moves from 'body popping' to 'funk', 'free-styling' to 'body locking', all while building up a sweat and burning the calories. Learn it all and ride through the beat! Week four and week eight complete a dance routine choreographed by your instructor.

What to wear

At the beginning of each class there will be a short warm up,your usual Gym wear is advised for this part of the session.

All our courses are based around a workout designed to help you lose weight, tone up and have fun!

Dance Shoes or Runners(non slip) are recommended
